If there are such critics, I'm frankly surprised. It should be quite clear that CCP is a parasitic closed economy, which grew to such a monstrosity by feeding off the free world.

Sadly interventionism was never about protecting freedom as we saw in the middle east but times change and I think it would be moment to alternate this
I kinda have to disagree. Interventionism saved the world from communism the in the 20th century. The US lost trillions of dollars in wars. Purely economicly it was a huge loss. But ideologicaly it was a win.
Of course...to the non-believing critics, China wants to be both a recepient of foreigner donors, and a sponsor of infrastructure projects around Asia, Africa, and the Pacific.
