[2] What is the meaning of this metaphor? In some cases, it is all too simple & clear. Bombers and tanks and rockets and white phosphorus shells are that high wall. The eggs are the unarmed civilians who are crushed & burned andshot by them. This is one meaning of the metaphor.

[3] But this is not all. It carries a deeper meaning. Think of it this way. Each of us is, more or less, an egg. Each of us is a unique, irreplaceable soul enclosed in a fragile shell. This is true of me, and it is true of each of you.

[4] Each of us, to a greater / lesser degree, is confronting a high, solid wall. The wall has a name: “The System.” It's supposed to protect us, but sometimes it takes on a life of its own, &then it begins to kill us & cause us to kill others–coldly, efficiently, systematically.

Change targets. Go after the real estate companies who are the reason Hong Kong is the way it is today. Say, occupy CK building, SHK building, etc. Occupy the mansions of those tycoons.
-
Wrong targets right now. HK government ultimately is in the hands of the property cartels. Beijing is a boogeyman. It's the business groups.

用你的传播力,告诉香港同胞,和平示威要强调和平,而不是每次都引发流血牺牲,和平示威要组织有序,不要让民众逐渐失去了方向。
