My friend came to visit Hong Kong and he told me when he arrived at the airport "We just came through there and these protestors were polite, respectful of travellers and caused no interference to our leaving the airport. I was proud of the way they were handling themselves."

Yeah - but quite a number of others -and even one of their union- are using nazi-inspired insignas and language (recently: "sous-homme" = "untermensch"). And last poll indicated about 55% of those guys were voting for extreme right party.

Hong Kong in 2019 stands on a freedom. It has chosen to reject totalitarianism & one party rule, which is truly heroic & admirable. They are truly admirable.
