The fact that police are responding to politicians make opinions is absurd, that is not their job. They are there to serve and protect, not comment, make arguments or start discussions! Taxpayers are paying for their time and this is blatant abuse of taxpayer funds

When used about the people or party in a government, "regime" usually means that the system of government is a one-party state -- no difference between the party and the system, but here it just means a change from one system of government to another, from colony to SAR.
