But doesn’t fundamentally ignored the bigger picture, that HK is a very small part of China (the land) and that this emphasis of differentiation* only plays into Beijing’s divide + conquer. *There are lot of fellow Cantonese across the border as well

Wow recently the number of 50 cent army trolls on twitter seems to have increased dramatically. HKers once awaited the day when China opens its gates and we could share the freedom we enjoy with our Mainland brothers and sisters. It appears that we were too overly optimistic.
