    Edward Luttwak makes a powerful case for military strikes to end North Korea's nuclear program. We'd be much safer today had we done this years ago. He omits one important side benefit: such an attack might also end Iran's pursuit of the bomb.

    WaPo ed today: of hate crimes fueled by religion, "more than half were aimed at Jews, a quarter at Muslims. The sharp rise in crimes against Muslims . . . is particularly troubling." The others, meh?
