Idris, no doubt we have different views and Syrians differ about what is good for them and what they want from the West, that we can both be right. Some want more sanctions placed on Damascus, others do not. Some want trade, rebuilding and jobs provided, others do not.

I don't believe that the US should punish Turkey. You are misreading my suggestions. I believe that the US can find a compromise between Kurds, Damascus and Ankara. Building pipelines across the desert makes sense. Richer neighbors will make Turkey richer. Most Turkish trade w
