Will be interesting to see if Turkey understands its role in this or, having smelled blood, will engage the Syrian army (declaration of war). In this case Russia will likely intervene, after Putin said publicly, all foreign troops must withdraw.

You are putting too much stock in what Putin says. If war breaks out, Putin won’t interfere in Syria’s favor. He is very busy sending advanced weapons to Syria’s enemies.

Things are becoming a little confusing, on National TV. They have refused to give any support to the democratic forces as they have betrayed the govt. When as we see Russia, & all forces in coordination with US & have agreed to operation, now game is changing.

SDF would have been extremely reckless if they hadn't already started covert negotiations with Syrian govt after Trump's last declaration that he was leaving Syria by end of April. That should have been a flashing red light to anyone.
