Aaron Rodgers being a Joe Rogan listening, conspiracy blathering, self-serving, lie spreading, “woke mob” sneering, anti-vaxxer who ***compares himself to Martin Luther King*** isn’t really that funny. It’s a fucking bummer.

Anti-vaxxers are posting that vaccines don't block spread or catching Covid. That is utterly false. —Vaccines markedly prevent symptomatic infections; for mRNAs efficacy = 95%, maintained w/ 3rd shot at ≥ 6 months —Vaccines markedly reduce spread, ≥ 50%

  4. The COP26 hype must stop. Nothing is binding. The US won't end the mining/burning of coal. Russia won't commit to anything. China/India won't stop incinerating coal. Australia won't halt its coal exports. When it comes to the world's major polluters, it's one big capitalist ruse.

Ten years ago I filed a suit against SeaWorld on behalf of five orcas alleging their captivity violated the 13th Amendment. Then, starting three years ago, I began receiving mysterious 1980s postcards "from" the captive animals at SeaWorld. Short thread ->

How fast is Arizona running out of water? One estimate says demand may outstrip supply within just fifteen years. Yet state officials can’t let go of the dream of permanent growth, even as habitats dry up and the land returns to dust.

No doubt Sen. Daines believes this, in which case he should: Immediately renounce his government salary. Give up his gov healthcare. Refuse future Medicare coverage. Return his forthcoming Social Security. Do college over at a private school since he attended a public university.

The spate of attacks on Chomsky from the Sputnik Left exude the same stench of Hitchens' slanders against two of his own mentors: Edward Said & Gore Vidal. But Hitchens–like many of the neocons– actually had been a kind of Leftist in a former life, unlike the pack snarling @ Noam

I spent four months working on this story about India Walton's improbable run for mayor of Buffalo, the city I was born & where my dad still lives. A labor of love that I hope gives some insights into what's at stake not just there but across the country.

What this should really say is: Vaccines alone are more likely to keep you out of the hospital/dying of COVID than prior infections w/o vaccine.
