Yes, the clear solution here is to say no filibusters on organizing resolution. That shld be able to get the ascent of Manchin and Sinema. So they don't seem there yet. ANd now clear Schumer's pushed it.

Tester said today he opposes eliminating filibuster but could change his mind. It seems to come down to Sinema. In her case, is she watching the GOP go off the rails in Arizona? Not sure she needs to thread the moderate needle anymore to win reelection.https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/23/politics/arizona-gop-censure-mccain-flake-ducey/index.html …

If Schumer can't get operational control of the Senate because of Sinema, he really needs to step aside for someone who can do the damn job.

I often feel like it were just McConnell and one other Republican in the Senate, McConnell would still get everything he wants.

Can the senate rules be changed with 50 votes plus Harris, or do they need 60?

It's past time for democrats to take notes on how to treat republicans should they gain a majority in the Senate again. Take lessons learned from Mitch and feed it back to them now.
