W/o getting into other critiques Meghan McCain is both completely ignorant abt anti-Semitism and, to put it mildly, not Jewish. How does she keep getting called on to discuss anti-Semitism? What the actual fuck?
2/ And to be clear, many people have very strong criticisms of her. I’m not getting into those. She’s the daughter of a famous senator. She’s carved out a niche for herself on The View. Great, good for her. But how the F did she become the anti-Semitism person.
3/ It’s truly Kafkaesque. We wake up one day in our American promised land and we’re not only being gunned down in synagogues. But our communal spokesperson is suddenly some shiksa bonehead with some spasmodic crying issue.
Apart from her father passing, why would anybody ask her for her thoughts on anything?
She was working this grift long before he even became ill. She's dense, supremely entitled & never pauses to think before offering a right-wing hot-take, convinced that her personal experience enduring the Hanoi Hilton & serving 5 1/2 terms in the senate gives her gravitas.
Bingo. So many are famous now just because … they are famous.

It’s obnoxious and it’s not just her. It seems like everyone who either knows someone Jewish or was invited to a neighbor’s Passover Seder has become an expert on Anti-Semitism. Unless you were 7 and got beat up because people think you killed Jesus, shut the fuck up.

Forgive me if you already knew this, but her husband is Ben Domenech. He IS the co-founder and publisher at the Federalist. They've only been married about year and a half. True story.

Because she has the balls to call it out and hold people's feet to the fire, which is more than I can say for any other prominent personalities. Especially when it comes to those on the left who equivocate with "whataboutisms"., which she shouldn't have to do.
Oh come on. How hard is it for a news program to call up the Antidefamation League or even their nearest synagogue & get someone knowledgeable about the community on the line? It’s not. At all. It just makes them look ridiculous to serve her up instead.
