We have truly descended into the “othering” of lesser people. It is horrible in all of its implications. There is a chance we do not recover from these people.

what's so startling, it goes by almost without comment, is that the wealthiest and most powerful people in the wealthiest and most powerful country are just petrified with fright. Everything terrifies them--Muslims, Mexicans, liberals, gays, women--even children: it's all scary.

Kinda strange right? Like they know something they don’t. That being afraid and spreading that fear makes them temporarily powerful but now...they have obviously pushed us too far. We are going to see this out and make a better world.
