is there anything that can be done to fix this and speed up deployment of tests? more resources? firing someone incompetent? getting congresspeople to ask questions? we are behind 3rd world countries in testing
Our cdc was over-ruled by the state department on matters of contagion when they flew infected people together with uninfected back from the cruise ship to the states. We have non scientists in charge of this admin. In fact we have mobsters on the take in charge. Not good.
This is inexcusable for one of the richest and most powerful nations in the world.
Think Trump. It’s a gddamn circus over there. Nobody’s qualified.
They don’t want us to know what’s going on. What better way to keep it hush hush, then to not even be ABLE to test. 
The fatality rate shot up overnight and we still haven’t heard from our leadership in any meaningful way. What are they waiting for?
Just maybe this is because they quietly believe it is everywhere, thus no reason to test because it will overwhelm health system and create mass panic. They've effed up so badly by not calling for halt to world travel.
