I remember a Dean of Admissions denying my B-School application with a 710 GMAT in the late 2000s because I told him that Consulting and Finance were the poor stepchildren of a bankrupt graduate education system.
“If you leave and then want to come back, it is because you failed and we don’t want failures here”
These wise words were directed at my Freestyle partner @jennylefcourt by her Dean when she wanted to dropout of B-School to start her company.
