If the basis of an argument denies or diminishes the humanity of others, than you’re not a good person. Once that threshold is crossed, there is a lot of room for good faith disagreement.

Exactly. There are many issues today that don’t exist in a “both sides” universe. Slavery, racism, bigotry, xenophobia, children in
