    WebXR (née WebVR) is ~eight years old. Dozens of people have taken on the long, thankless, and often boring work to make this happen. There is one more stage before it becomes a W3C Recommendation which is what most people consider to be "a web standard".

    Slowly and steadily, WebXR is creeping toward official standardization. Today it became a W3C Candidate Recommendation.

    Citations in markdown are such a pain that I built my own editor. Autocomplete citations from JSON bibliography, collapse syntax to interactive widgets, and lots more. Still very WIP, but feels like it's starting to gel! Made w/ .

    Why Greatness Cannot Be Planned klaxon! Expert disagreement is a proxy for novelty, a signal that the idea probably explores new territory. When you see it, pay attention, rather than discounting!

    A negativity trap, or why mediocre ideas win: innovative ideas get widely varying reception, people love or hate them. When groups of people evaluate the idea, the negative reviews are listened to more as “negative evaluators appear smarter,” so overall evaluation becomes lower!
