Our MP should be supporting the call to close schools and fighting for online learning resources to be distributed in our community.
Instead, @JulieMarsonMP is shamelessly parroting the gov line and abandoning responsibility. #CloseTheSchoolshttps://www.bishopsstortfordindependent.co.uk/news/mp-says-teachers-are-not-at-extra-risk-from-covid-19-9147177/ …
Boris waited, let infections rise and been forced into tougher action. Another lockdown wasn’t inevitable, but they’ve let infections & hospital admissions spiral and now it’s essential. No doubt communities will suffer economically from a lockdown, but sadly now no other choice.

I disagree that another lockdown wasn't inevitable. Cases had started rising, even at the end of the November lockdown. Even with a lockdown I think we'll struggle to contain it. Vaccination is the only way out. IMHO

I think that’s fair, I think it was always likely restrictions would get tougher. Government needs to rapidly speed up vaccination programme, as I agree that’s the only way out of this pandemic.
