My understanding was legalisation of cannabis was a big contributor to rise of fentanyl in the states (drug gangs diversifying to maintain revenue). Fwiw, the police don't take any notice of heroin & crack dealing around me. Sad to hear your time is taken up on minor issues.

My understanding was it was theover prescribing of opioids by the medical profession that gave riseto the USAs fentanyl/opioid crisis which began in the 90s way before cannabis legalisation. Furthermore, states where cannabis is legal have less opioid use

Drug policy and the point you made are discussed every day (particularly here) and have been considered within many forums. The reason for no change to date is because it’s much more complex than the headline you mentioned. Are would the remedies and consequences be.

Keep watching Canada for the reality. Not as simple there either, although many are claiming so. Extra police effort to ‘police regulation’. Insufficient choice of products. Slow take up (because many still use their dealer). Under resourced production. We’ll see. And the USA...
