I’m just gonna assume this was an incredibly poor take by the marketing department and the researchers themselves simply went “oh lol you can crash WhatsApp with this malformed message. I’ll send them a report real quick.” If not, holy hell what a shit attempt at being relevant.

Yeah, my experience with checkpoint is their researchers do good work, then their marketing team makes everyone look like a fucking joke.
