Why would Trump's electoral count be 268 if those states are too close to call? If it's because he was ahead "for 48 hours after election night," then Biden's count should be 270 already, since he's been leading AZ and NV for a few days now.

Actually, there is nothing in the PA Constitution that requires the results of the election be finalized or counted on “one day.” It is my understanding that the votes that are currently still being counted are those that were cast on or before election day.

Absolutely. Republican legislators stopped early ballots from being counted before election day, so it's taking a bit longer than other states. Who knew?!

We have proportional representation here in Ireland and can take days to count....yes its unusual not to call it on the night but these are not ordinary times
