This is an extremely out of touch decision by
@TeamYouTube. It SHOULD be EASY to know when you’ve found the OFFICIAL YouTube channel of a creator! So why, WHY, why the heck would you make it HARDER for channels to verify themselves? How does this help the viewer? What the heck?https://twitter.com/TeamYouTube/status/1174735005215420416 …Marriland added,

If you are verified chances are you will be unverified until you meet a certain criteria.

Ok so this wouldn’t effect me? Cause I’m not verified - and what are even the requirements to do so anyways

It shouldn't affect you. Idk what the criteria is but apparently Youtube themselves don't meet that criteria.... Its just a mess. A good number of youtubers are getting unverified because of this.

Idk why they insist on changing every little thing to the point it F’s creators over more than anything else

I have no clue either. It was perfect the way it was.

Exactly - but maybe if people keep talking about how it An how it’ll effect everyone they may change a few things that won’t F people over, but I don’t see them doing that because they never actually listen to the creators to begin with
