You should check out gathers all type of media & assets around your music

    - Profiles should tell you a lot more about the person - a musical tapestry made from the music they listen to the most - do a great job of showing musical compatibility, insights on your listening data - more of the good stuff, less of an afterthought

    - Allow me to react in-app to things my friends are playing - Listening parties/join friend broadcasts - WinAMP had something like this with Shoutcast but was difficult to get working (at least it was last time I tried around 1999/2000)

    - More album theming, maybe. Kids these days don't understand how good it felt to read the booklet when listening to the music. Artwork + music, one and the same.

    - Sidebar needs a tidy up in general rather than relying on text to do all the heavy lifting (man I hate working with Circular) - An inbox for music presents and recommendations from friends

    - Artwork should influence/theme the interface - Shared playlists should show who is collaborating

Things I'd like to see in Spotify... - Light mode (my eyes can't deal with dark mode) - Quieter, less opinionated interface to let the artwork breathe - Album-based browsing

A short thread on why Radiohead are the closest thing we have to a modern Beatles. Besides the obvious comparisons of seamlessly traversing musical styles and releasing controversial records at the height of their fame, both bands dabbled with something else: secrets.

Sounds like a use case for finding a way to declare your dependencies, whether they're CSS, JS, or Houdini worklets, and then finding a way to build and resolve dependency graph, either at bundle-time or in the browser 🤔 I've been wondering about a @--dependencies for this

Absolutely. Ferriss was a master of that sense of awe and ambiguity.

Maybe is fine and what I‘m really looking for is an include at-rule. (And endless loop prevention magic) I want to get to a place where components can be built in a way where they know what resources are required to load rather than loading the majority of the system.

We can do this with media queries: “component.css” screen and (min-width: 400px) But it either won’t work with container queries, the syntax will be too verbose or too abstract from the component itself unless the import at-rule is overhauled.
