I loved @Uber but charging me £35 when it quoted me £16-24 is a lil bit too much for me (isn't the first time). £7.50 in surge fees is a bit ridiculous. Therefore I'm tempted to delete the app and go back to using local firms who won't exploit and price surge unfairly.
Sad times
It's ridiculous. I'm comparing 2 similar routes and every section of the price has increased massively in the space of 4 months. I'm sure some regulatory standards may rise an eyebrow or 2 (for my protection this is not a policy I'm proposing I'm saying this as a customer)
