Time for a thread about last night. I will start off by saying that the 2 SNP members were lovely and genuinely have good intentions. However, for the life of me I can't understand the party and their stance on democracy. You cannot have 2 referendums and disregard the result 1/?
They voted to remain in the UK in 2014. The UK voted to leave in 2016. Therefore they can't have it both ways. The SNP are an undemocratic party not serving the interest of Scotland or the UK as a whole. Therefore undermining the legitimacy of our democratic system

Yeah that's the point though. When they voted to stay in UK, the UK was staying in EU. Things have changed a lot since then.

As far as I'm aware, the referendum in 2014 never said anything about staying within the EU if Scotland remain. If you can provide evidence that would be nice
