And hence why a solid understanding of how to conduct statistical analysis is crucial... but in certain 'disciplines' that just doesn't seem to be their forte. They prefer to distort the facts as they like.

Some of these correlations could lead to causation such as the Arcades and the Computer Doctorates since Arcade games are computers. Same with worldwide space and socio since some of those start off as socio projects. Same with math and Uranium storage.

Keep fighting the good fight. I jave to explain regularly that Sociology exists purely as theory - completely outside disciplines of evolution, biology, physics, etc. Its more akin to a fantastical new religion than anything reality-based.

I once had to validate a manufacturing process developed by a colleague. The correlation in the summary between the relevant parameters were impressive. End when I checked the underlying data I found he had used only two data points...
