Will there be a new edition of Maps of Meaning (1999) anytime soon?
I look forward to listening to this. I find that trying to share your videos ends up splitting the group. In a good way.
Thank you, Dr Peterson. Much looking forward to it
Well done and interesting JP. Personally, I think your modus operandi as regards the ancient myths, especially the Biblical stories, points to a much more clear and pointed analysis of the meaning of myth than Jung or the more pop-psych, palatable protege Joseph Campbell.
Especially as it pertains to Mr. Campbell, there seemed to be a little too much enthrallment and fascination with the discovery of the "maps" than with what the contents of the discovery meant and the implications in terms of what a person should actually do with their being.
@ProfJohnLennox @jordanbpeterson Please meet up for the sake of humanity and intellectual discussion! Please make it happen. Would be awesome to see how the discussion goes, discussing "the divine Logos" and "Archetypes", Carl Jung and Freud...
God appeared to me in a way I understood. Not visually, but just something about the situation...I knew deep within my core God was present. Everything I thought I knew or had been told vanished and didn’t matter.
