Can't compete with the Prof here, but my observation is that feminists / activists saw actual equal pay for equal work (i.e. equality), but saying "Ok, Good. Got that one. Great. The End" kills their raison d'être. They need "inequality" and "victims" to justify their existence

It’s not very impressive to invent an overgeneralization of your political enemies, falsely attribute a belief to them, and then knock down your caricature as if it were made of straw. It’s not even a clever or original form of intellectual dishonesty.

Did you even read the article? The pay gap, whether believed to be 18 or 28% isn’t a straw man. Holyrood clearly support its existence noting relative rates of M/F pilots and stewardess. I wonder what the applicant rates are for those positions?
