Big problem here is public education---people who build systems like to think they only exclude lower-band, but any system is going to exclude lower and upper band for any trait, we just tend to call young men who hate school but are very intelligent "mentally ill" nowadays.

Plus, because Canadian K-12 is now almost exclusively about socialist indoctrination, academic performers are going to learn early on that if they want to be considered "smart" they need to apply themselves to socialist doxology. So terrible.

That's not new, I learned early on if I didn't parrot my educators opinion, I lost marks. It was worse for me in university. I valued grades more than taking a stand. Did what I needed to get the paper & get out. I'm not the exception I'm the rule.
