re: The last question - it's may be harder for some to see because it requires thought and taking it to its inevitable conclusion - examining it in light of the human shadow. There is also the 'ease' in which the failures are waived away, "it wasn't done right" (shadow denial).

The denial is made easier, because it wraps itself in the cloak of utopia and virtue, making itself out to be the shining light on the hill without the need to climb the steps. It promises heaven for all - and who wouldn't want that? So people deny the hell hidden inside...
