I was not making a prescription for the Left. They can do whatever they wish. I was just emphasizing that we should abandon identity politics altogether & focus on our values and personal growth. Collectivism corrupts.

I will always be an individual first. I will not compromise my beliefs to join a team, but I will happy work with people who share my values. The Left is the Left's problem as far as I am concerned.

Isn't religion an ideology that does precisely what postmodernism does - claims special exemption from evidence and believes critique or disbelief is oppression?
