I'm even more confused the more I look at it.. Segregate men and women? Is that what you're getting at? That's a pretty Islamic viewpoint isn't it? I'd like to think we can say before women's suffrage movement we weren't actually treating each other properly either

My interpretation: Woman bows to man, and he elevates her - i.e. women can only rise by the will of men, and must submit for this to happen. No thx. Women are not men's subjects, and they will not depend on men for their destiny.
