My personal experience attending university was that most of the protesters weren't really informed of the details of their activism. They just liked to rebel. But that was 10+ years ago.

That's what I remember. I don't know any university students now. Well, I do, but they have families and jobs too, so they don't have time for self indulgent nonsense. Some of the key protest leaders at my university got their names in the media as much as possible. 1/2

Yes. In UK there are now 'qualified' barristers who don't know what the common law is. Believe me you don't want to be represented by one of those.
