aside from the usual fallacys the notion about "who knows about masculinity, there are no rules" and the "men are killing us , run away" and To boot that advertisers would somehow say anything worthwhile about men. ....fukme we're lost bro.

At least they mention the need for conversation. People need to do better. Everyone has there audience. Very few, if any have everyone as their audience.

I think what should be said is that not all boys/men are "trapped" in this. It's a further attempt at creating a new class of victims, to whom traditional manliness is the oppressor. What if I simply *am* the embodiment of traditional manliness, and content with myself?

Is it not ok to be the way I identify because someone else doesn't like it? Hm. Sounds familiar.

So may boys are trapped into thinking masculinity is toxic and are raised to belive they are bad because they are male. This article is misguided and the message is rather unnerving

It's designed intent is ambiguity, thus anyone who purports to possess a definition for masculinity, no matter how broad, is clearly on the myopic-thinking side of the "conversation."

The article tries to make out you're on the other side of the spectrum. Also "spoken and written about the need for men to become better at well, almost everything." No, I've listened & read you aim at both genders.

I’ve never understood the concept of the “ heartwarming” commercial .... I mean I get the emotional idea but how does that lead me to buying your product ? And this one only makes me think Harry is off his meds.
-
It’s about creating an association between the emotion and the brand, not to sell anything in particular.
