"If a slave say to his master: "You are not my master," if they convict him his master shall cut off his ear." http://avalon.law.yale.edu/ancient/hamframe.asp … - it's all about making the slaves know their place, has been since earliest "written law."
-
Except we're not punishing slaves for wanting freedom. We're punishing would-be slave owners for trying to reduce others to slaves. "You are my inferior!" - is what's unacceptable. And it should be. History shows where such sentiment leads. Always.

Damore never said: "... women were biologically inferior at programming"
@jonfingas Where in the memo did Damore say that? -
This is what pisses me off. At best its an interpretation at worst a full on lie. I have tried to call out a "journalist" on this elsewhere.

We may never know because the author
@jonfingas (or his publisher) has disabled comments to the article. Damore never said women were inferior. Ridiculous.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I have to be honest with you, professor. I have mixed feelings about feminism. I hate it but at the same time I'm indebted to it because of what some women on feminism have contributed. It would be ungrateful for me to hate what has helped me. (1)

Stunning how often people parrot the pseudo-science claim about Damore's memo while none of them ever provided any empirical evidence to contradict the scientific literature he quoted.
