Because how does that differ from history? White males have had no issues breaking down bigotry, segregation, in this case Apartheid, to do what they want. At least try to think a little.

Well, I presume not every article in the journal is themed this way; and, in the case of South Africa and its relatively recent political history, such a subject might make (absolute) sense.
