This isn't a gaffe and it isn't violating any gap between govt and judiciary. At issue is Jury selection/challenge process which allows for many jurors to be excluded without justification. In racially charged cases,, it can lead to juries that are not representative.

@JustinTrudeau is going to do? Overrule the judiciary? You are just blowing smoke here. This is about listening to concerns that many aboriginals have about the judicial system. Important to instill confidence in it, and consider reforms if appropriate.
