If you're properly habituated to yoke emotive happiness to flourishing, you get to be both. We should really teach people it's totally possible to be both consistently.

I don't believe it's possible to be either flourishing or happy continually. If you believe it is possible then what is going wrong at times when you are neither?

I use to strive to be happy. I had depression and low self worth. Now I strive to be the best at what I do, and its makes me happy, I haven't had depression, and I have a high sense of self worth.
