There was a recent Joe rogan podcast talking about this, Dr who owns a clinic in Panama said they only use adult stem cells and they've always maintained them to have better application, less chance of tumours to result etc

Caries itself can elicit reparative dentine formation via normal physiological response. Holy grail is enamel formation... not as easy.
