The bible myths are essentially about us or more specifically nomadic desert people putting into words and making tangible that which they know in the back of their minds (biologically driven) to be the right thing to do under various circumstances.

some things are relative and evolving. if not, then christian europe should have known that it was wrong to engage in colonialism and slavery. over time it learned. same goes no doubt for some of the practices we carry out today world wide.
