Same happened to me. I learned about JBP from SH. And what Dic has said, it just resonated with me. Still admire both of them immensely.

I had the absolute same problem. Like, i see the huge utility in rationality atheism, i still am atheist, it's just i stopped seing religion, and the myth of creation as something literal and as something i diametrically oppose. Doc's version of meaning got me back on my feet.
