As either an elementary, middle and high school music teacher, I've found - in relation to rhythmic reading/performing and vocal/instrumental tone and agility - there are significantly more "good" female students, but the males almost entirely make up the "best".

The average IQ is by definition average. As in 100. That is what average means. All others are outliers. By definition. If a test shows a preference for certain groups it is proof the test isn't valid.

The test is valid when its repeatable with the same results and then u also can atempt to draw conclusion out of that evidence even for groups like gender or ethnicity
