I think they see things in a very shallow way. Looking at this they see only naked women and a lusty man. Once they see that they refuse to delve deeper because of the perceived offensiveness. That's how I read it anyway.

I would argue this is less to do with ideology and instead the aim of any politically motivated cult to silence those who would disagree in order to gain a worryingly tumorous political platform.
