        I'm really thankful that I'm not a university student at this point in my life. I do not think I would be able to stay out of visceral conflict with protesters of that ilk. That's a complication I do not need.

        I always thought the whole point of "multiculturalism" as a kid was to enjoy and experience other cultures. But now that's "cultural appropriation" and you should be ASHAMED. Of course only if you're white though.

        There are a lot of great ideas in liberalism. And some not so great ideas in far left thought. But, in general, most western democracies/societies are liberal places (compared to other societies in the world, and societies everywhere in the past).

        There are good ideas and terrible ideas in both the left and right political slants, the problem arises from thinking liberalism or conservatism is "better" than the other. Going far in either direction is a recipe for disaster.
