In Sweden there is a huge taboo talking about IQ,, even among psychologists.

Funny, you don't seem so concerned about possible bias in studies when they bolster your views.https://twitter.com/apmeehan/status/956352111503126528 …

        1. Voluntary participation, so open to self-selection bias 2. Subjects knew they were being observed, so open to reactivity bias 3. The study only looked at the initial CV shortlisting stage, and so no conclusions are inferred about the effect on final hiring numbers

It is just a symptome of a disease: denying the importance of excellence just because it colllides with a flawed concept of equality

Because IQ doesn't test 'intelligence'. It tests learned skills, even so-called 'culture free' tests like the Raven.

It's about the assumptions that come after the presuppositions. If you construct a different test where previous low scorers are now high scorers and then find C you can say that X caused Y. The logic is sound.

Intelligence is undefined, and IQ tests don't test it. Even the Raven has learned structure built in. Perhaps most damning, no cognitive theory exists for item selection.
