How would one even institute a ban on such a thing? Only thing this would teach kids is that they need to lie to authority to live a normal life.

I feel like there are more and more people that don't even give a second thought about how such ideas would be implemented in reality. It's easy to come up with fantasy solutions if you have no regard for what's actually possibly in the real world.
