I can never get over the seeming oddity that Canadians call their electricity or power 'hydro'. No matter how many times my buddy Ken over in Toronto says it, it always trips me up just a little.

The seniors should also pick a fight with those who underfunded hydro to such an extent that expensive upgrades became a necessity, thus facilitating price increases to a much greater extent than the over-maligned "green plan".

I've noticed substantial price increases to my favourite restaurants and coffee shops already. This dramatic wage increase is only causing inflation to increase at a more rapid pace than before.
