  I believe the sheer necessity of higher education plays a role as well. There appears to be an increasing number of people who are not actually interested in learning or discussing ideas at university. It has simply become a means to an end.

  I am someone who went to trade school for carpentry and am better off then my friends who went to collage. My wife and I were able to buy a house sooner because we had no debt.
