It is very likely that this is a direct consequence of the biologically-based higher levels of trait negative emotion (neuroticism) that are characteristic of women, as a group, in contrast to men -- a difference you correctly identified in your original memo. Hope you're well.https://twitter.com/JamesADamore/status/942922470419447810 …

Women are less likely to be victims of online harassment (37% vs. 44% of men), but are more upset by it. This combined with our tendency to view women as victims has skewed the narrative. http://www.pewinternet.org/2014/10/22/online-harassment/ … pic.twitter.com/dfaLwlpmkP

I really enjoyed the memo. I didnt agree with every point. But I still felt it well thought out and not malicious. Upsetting the way it turned out.

Women can be fretful drama queens, but they're hardwired for the childrearing proccess, which is a kind of evolutionary magic that guys can never totally understand. That motherly instinct in women also gives them a volatile intuition that can be highly accurate if they tune it.

Focusing on a woman's ability to make and raise babies shouldn't be insulting. Modern society kind of killed the old pride of stay at home moms. Part of it is modern feminism, but it's also the effect of dollar devaluation and women being forced to supplement their husband's pay.
