I bet the next version of iphone or android is going to auto-correct 'he' or 'she' to 'they' to help users avoid messing up the sensitive and sophisticated problem of proper pronoun usage. Can't we all be they?

Usage of 'they' was perfectly normal in English until a busybody grammarian wrote a book in the mid 1800s and everyone copied his personal solecism.
