Saposedly Jesus was a popular name back then and more then one of them claimed to be a prophet. One of them had to be Jewish and make the most convincing claims.

Its like asking scientists to answer the question as to whether air exists... Of course it does, although i cannot see it, I feel and see the effects of it everyday. Don't need a scholar to answer nor debate the obvious.

I dont believe the theistic version of Jesus existed. He may have existed as a person, but Richard Carrier's book on this subject was kind of the last nail in the coffin for this historical Jesus idea.
